Glenn Laredo

has been producing and engineering award winning soundtracks for television and radio commercials for over 30 years. He began his career as an assistant audio engineer at Automated Sound Studios in New York City, recording some of the finest musicians in the world.
He was quickly recognized as a young talent by the advertising community, and soon became a recording producer for Dancer, Fitzgerald and Sample, where he created jingles, music scores and animation tracks for clients such as Toyota, Wendy’s, General Mills series of animated cereal ads, Olympia Beer and Hanes Hosiery.
His love of painting aural landscapes for animation and radio, as well as his desire to be a business owner, inevitably led him to build his own audio post production facility. With five state-of-the-art studios, East Side Audio pioneered a wide array of innovative techniques as the facility became the premier commercial audio production house in New York City. East Side produced both high profile ads for The Super Bowl as well as mainstream commercials for the advertising community. Clients included all major ad agencies in New York and across the country.
After fifteen years, Glenn sold his interest in East Side and opened Laredo Audio Post on Hudson Street. He single handedly designed the studios and aided Lower Manhattan in becoming a new venue of media production. Glenn sold this facility in 2005 in order to pursue an independent career producing audio for ABC News, The Discovery Channel, Saatchi & Saatchi Advertising, Zimmerman Advertising, independent filmmakers and small businesses.
Today, Glenn resides in San Diego enjoying family and the west coast vibe. During the COVID lockdown, he turned his attention to his home studio, where he provides video and audio tape and disc transfers for his wonderful customers!
